Biography
About the Speaker. . .David Onysko is a health and physical educator, earning a Master's Degree in Education in 1991. In addition to his professional teaching duties, he has an avid interest in Sindonology (the study of the Shroud of Turin). This interest has led him to many international scientific conferences (St. Louis, Rome, and New York, etc.) Most recently, in August 2000, David and his family traveled to Turin, Italy for the Shroud's Jubilee Exposition. In April 1998, he and a world-wide press corp viewed this ancient strip of linen during a 45 minute private showing. He has been presenting the continuing story of the Shroud of Turin since the late 1980's. He resides in Olmsted Falls with his wife Linda, and daughter Jesse.
